Kailey Payne
Founder & Principal Designer
Kailey is an Atlanta native and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Business Management. Before launching her design firm, she spent years leading projects for Fortune 500 companies, including Cigna and UnitedHealth Group, where she developed the project management skills that now bring organization and clarity to every design project.
With more than a decade of design experience Kailey creates timeless, thoughtfully curated homes that balance beauty with functionality. She believes exceptional design begins with understanding how her clients live, resulting in spaces that feel elevated, welcoming, and deeply personal.
As a follower of Christ, wife, and mother of three, Kailey understands the importance of a home that serves both family and everyday life. She is passionate about designing spaces that balance timeless beauty with comfort, functionality, and intentional living. Her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence allow her to guide clients through every step of the design process with confidence and care.
Kailey Rushing
Design Operations & Procurement Coordinator
Kailey Rushing earned her Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Central Piedmont Community College, where she developed a strong foundation in space planning, materials, and client-centered design. After graduating in 2023, she began her career in residential interiors, concentrating on product sourcing, procurement, and vendor coordination. In these roles, she streamlined project workflows, maintained schedules and timelines, and ensured quality through careful specification and supplier management. She now brings this operational rigor and design sensibility to the Payne Interiors and Design team.
Based in North Carolina, Kailey is married to her high-school sweetheart, Max. They are actively involved in their local church community and enjoy spending time with their families—and the occasional friendly game of pickleball.
Guided by a genuine love of design and a desire to align her work with her faith and values, Kailey is committed to partnering closely with clients. Her goal is to translate their needs into thoughtful spaces that feel personal, functional, and beautiful for years to come!
